Newtown-Harris School Superintendent to retire June 30, 2019

The Newtown-Harris R-3 Board of Education has accepted the retirement of Superintendent Doctor Kim Johnson. Johnson’s last day with the district will be June 30th. Principal Dustin Freeman says the board will advertise the Superintendent position. In Wednesday’s announcement, the Newtown-Harris R-3 School District and Board of Education wished Johnson well.

Newtown-Harris Board of Education accepts easement agreement

The Newtown-Harris R-3 Board of Education accepted an easement agreement for sidewalk construction Monday evening. The agreement for $1,400 was accepted following a presentation from the Missouri Department of Transportation on sidewalk construction through Newtown.
