Grundy Electric crew to assist with restoration efforts in Florida
A Grundy Electric Cooperative crew left Wednesday morning to assist with restoration efforts for Hurricane Michael. Grundy Electric reports the four-lineman crew and two trucks headed for Talquin Electric Cooperative in Quincy, Florida. The Florida-based distribution coop serves about 53,000 members in four Panhandle counties.

Assistant to the Secretary for Rural Development Anne Hazlett announced Wednesday that the United States Department of Agriculture is investing more $398,500,000 to improve rural electric service in 13 states through the Electric Infrastructure Loan Program.
