Power outage planned in Galt

Power will be turned off at Galt Thursday, March 7th due to the changing out of a substation. Galt City Clerk Ashley Campbell reports KCP&L plans to turn off the power for the city at 4 o’clock that afternoon. Residents will be without power for up to four hours.

A bid for southern yellow pine poles was accepted from Arkansas Electric Cooperative for $10,899 with confirmation of grant money from Missouri Public Energy Pool.
