Sullivan County Health Department conducting a COVID-19 contact investigation at Milan United Methodist Church

As part of an ongoing COVID-19 contact investigation, the Sullivan County Health Department advises any individual who attended the Milan United Methodist Church on Sunday, September 26 to monitor for symptoms related to possible COVID exposure.

The health department says the notice is only for people to be “informed” of the current situation. It emphasized this is not a quarantine notice.

If people who attended the United Methodist Church of Milan on Sunday feel they may have been exposed, call Sullivan County Health Department in Milan to discuss risk assessment so they may assist you with proper protocol for extended measures.

If individuals are exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms, the health department advises them to call a health care provider to seek testing and further guidance.

Monday night, the Sullivan County Health Department added 15 more positive cases of COVID-19 since the last report was made. That raised the total since testing began to 1183 cases. There are 31 active cases for Sullivan County according to the information provided.
