Chillicothe Police Department officers responded to a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street to a report of an individual in the business with an active Livingston County probation violation warrant on an original charge of distribution of a controlled substance.
When officers arrived at the business, they observed the individual who then attempted to flee by running on foot from the officers. Officers located the individual, Tehya Kelley, in a room at a hotel in the 1000 block of South Washington Street.
Kelley was taken into custody, without incident, and transported to the police department, where she was processed and transferred to the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail.
