Portions of two Trenton streets will be closed for brief periods of time this Saturday for safety purposes, prior to the two commencement ceremonies for North Central Missouri College.
According to the college, the closings involve a portion of Main and Mable Streets between Crowder Road and 12th street. The street closing times on Saturday are from 8:40 until 9 o’clock and from 12:40 until 1 o’clock. This is to allow graduates to march from the Geyer Hall to the Ketcham Community Center without having to watch for traffic. One commencement ceremony begins at 9 o’clock and the other starts at 1 o’clock.
After each ceremony concludes, just Mabel Street, from Crowder to 12th, will be blocked off to allow the crowd to disperse safely out of the Ketcham center. That portion of Mabel Street will reopen when the street is clear of pedestrians.
