A teenager from Stewartsville was taken to a hospital following a vehicle rollover accident last night on Highway 36 in DeKalb County.
The highway patrol reports 16-year-old Kelsi Caraway of Stewartsville received minor injuries and was taken by private vehicle to Mosiac Life Care in St. Joseph. The patrol report shows the westbound vehicle she was driving traveled off Highway 36 twice, then overturned several times, and came to rest on its wheels.
The vehicle was demolished in the accident nearly three miles west of Stewartsville in the 7:45 pm crash.
The teenager was using a seat belt.
