A St. Joseph resident was hurt when a van went off a road and hit an embankment northwest of Cainsville early Saturday evening.
22-year old Cherith Boger of St. Joseph was taken to Harrison County Community Hospital at Bethany with moderate injuries.
She was a passenger in the van driven by 16-year old Jasmine Mclain of Cainsville who was not reported hurt.
The accident happened nearly two miles northwest of Cainsville on Route N when the westbound van crossed the center line, traveled back to the right, went off the road and hit an embankment.
Damage to the van was minor.
Neither person was wearing a seatbelt.
