St. Joseph woman arrested in Iowa, charged in Grundy County

A St. Joseph woman has been arrested in Lucas County, Iowa on a Grundy County warrant accusing her of check forgery.

46-year-old Valerie Kay Fraser faces two counts of forgery stemming from checks issued in July on the personal checking account of William Draper.  One check is for $1,050, and the other was written for $400.

Ms. Fraser waived extradition from Iowa to Missouri.

Bond is $2,000 cash pending Ms. Fraser appearing Tuesday, September 27 in the Associate Division of Grundy County Circuit Court.
