At the Osborn Junction at the intersection of Highways 36 and 33, a 2017 model semi tractor-trailer was demolished in an accident at approximately 3 o’clock this (Friday) morning.  Sixty-two year old David Goodale of St. Joseph was taken by ambulance to Mosaic Life Care (in St. Joseph) for the treatment of moderate injuries.

The Highway Patrol reports that Goodale was westbound when the towed unit went off the north side of U.S. 36 at a curve.  The unit went down an embankment, struck a sign and ditch, and traveled back onto the road where it overturned onto the passenger side.  Goodale was wearing a seat belt.
