Spickard resident Phillip Galvan was injured in an all-terrain vehicle accident Thursday afternoon in Spickard.
The 49-year-old was taken by emergency services to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton for the treatment of moderate injuries.
The highway patrol reports Galvan was northbound on 5th street when an ATV failed to yield at the intersection with Jefferson, then traveled across the road and hit a tree.
The report indicated he was not wearing a safety device and damage was minor to the ATV.
The Grundy County Sheriff’s Department assisted the highway patrol at the scene of the 3:50 pm accident Thursday.
