A Spickard man, 45-year-old Richard Allen Cornwell, was arrested Sunday on four warrants – each of which accuses him of alleged failure to appear in circuit court and/or failure to pay the balance due of fines and court costs.
Bond is set at $800 dollars cash with Cornwell to appear in the associate division of the Grundy County circuit court March 28.
Online information indicates he failed to appear for a February 8 session of the circuit court.
Cornwell had previously pleaded guilty to several traffic offenses including driving while revoked or suspended; unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia; displaying license plates of another vehicle; failure to register a motor vehicle; failure to have proof of financial responsibility; and a seat belt infraction.
When appearing in court last September, Cornwell received jail time as well as fines and court costs. With additional warrants issued, a total of $100 ($25 per warrant) was added as a late fee in paying the balances due.
