Spickard Fire Protection District firefighters responded to the fairgrounds at Spickard on Saturday afternoon.
Once on the scene, firefighters extinguished a small grass fire which had spread into old railroad ties along with trees.
Training Officer Jesse Richmond reported the cause was undetermined and nothing else was threatened. Firefighters were on the scene about 90 minutes.
