The Spickard Board of Aldermen on Monday evening accepted a bid for hay at the lagoon. The bid from John Wagner was for $12.68 per bale for the first cutting and $10.50 per bale for the second cutting.

It was announced Rapid Removal will not do a spring clean up or bulk pick up due to the Coronavirus.

The board voted member Maggie George as President. Spickard City Clerk Amy Chapman reports the board president position had been vacant since a former member resigned. It was previously reported J. R. Roberts resigned in January.

All bills were approved to be paid, except for Hawkins Harrison insurance until the board reviews the new policy. Chapman says Hawkins Harrison is a company that provides cybersecurity, workman’s compensation, and bonds for city employees.
