The Linn County Soil and Water Conservation District holds its annual cost-share sign-up August 1st through September 2 for the fiscal year beginning July 1st of next year.
A new feature involves summer construction practices being given higher priority than other practices as long as they meet eligibility requirements.
Persons unable to be present for the sign-up can designate someone else to do the sign-up for them by completing a landowner authorization form, available at the Linn County Soil and Water Conservation District office. The form must be filled out prior to the sign- up.
No sign-ups will be allowed by fax or telephone, however, persons may telephone the office to ask questions or go to the office in person.
