SkillPath in Chillicothe to construct new facility

SkillPath described as the nation’s largest public seminar company, held a groundbreaking ceremony Wednesday, for their new building in the Chillicothe Industrial Park.

SkillPath, based in Mission, Kansas is constructing a new facility for its Call Center operations with construction scheduled to be completed by Spring 2017.

The company was established in 1989 by founders, Jerry Brown and Denise Dudley who have ties to the local area and opted to move customer service operations to Chillicothe in the year 2000. It currently is located at 434 Locust Street.

In March 2015, SkillPath acquired one of its competitors, National Seminars Training and, as one combined entity, have reportedly become the largest business training company in the country. The new permanent Chillicothe facility offers more opportunities to serve clients.

The Chillicothe staff of 30 employees is led by manager Wilma Graham, however, overall, the company has 235 employees.

SkillPath Seminars send over 85 million brochures and over 300 million emails each year to prospective clients.

The SkillPath Call  Center in Chillicothe receives and makes over 250,000 calls annually.

In addition, the company has over 400 trainers throughout the United States. The company provides training to clients in the U.S. as well as in over 20 countries, offering Leadership, Management and Supervisory skills training as well as other business training courses.
