The Grundy R-5 Board of Education, during a special Tuesday meeting, accepted the resignation of elementary teacher Jessica Shackelford and speech implementer Jackie Hoffman, effective at the end of this school year.
The board approved a bill for about $1,400 for stove repairs, and, during a closed session, offered coaching contracts for junior high school and high school basketball for next school year. The R-5 District says names will be released upon the return of signed contracts.
The next regular meeting of the Grundy R-5 Board of Education will be 5:30 PM on Tuesday, May 10th at the elementary building in Humphreys.
