Several defendants bound over to Division One of Grundy County court

Several defendants waived preliminary hearings Tuesday in Associate Division of Grundy County Circuit Court with each bound over to division one for Thursday.

Tony Stanley of Trenton faces two felony counts of endangering the welfare of a child. One involved his alleged use of drugs and the other involved alleged sexual contact with a person under 17 years old. Stanley also is charged with statutory rape,

Trenton resident Keylee Erika Vestal is charged with the non-consent dissemination of private sexual images.

Kristen Kay Hess of Trenton faces two counts: possession of a controlled substance as well as tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution. Two misdemeanor traffic cases were certified to the higher court.

Michael Jason Hall of Trenton entered a plea of not guilty to charges of endangering the welfare of a child allegedly creating substantial risk for the youth.

Blythedale resident Ryan Kampman pleaded guilty to an amended charge of fourth-degree assault which is a misdemeanor. Imposition of his sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for one year. Kampman is to pay $375 restitution, $300 to the Grundy County Law Enforcement Fund and court costs.

Brooke Marriot of Trenton pleaded guilty to an amended charge of misdemeanor stealing and was sentenced to 20 days in the Grundy County Detention Center, with credit given for time served. She is to pay $115 restitution and courts costs.

Trenton resident Kathy Stratton pleaded guilty to peace disturbance and operating a motor vehicle on the highway without a valid license, second offense. Both are misdemeanors. Ms. Stratton was sentenced to 20 days in the Grundy County Detention Center. Credit was given for time served. She is to pay $100 to the Grundy County Law Enforcement Fund and court costs.

Trenton resident, Mashia Miller, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to serve five days in the Grundy County Detention Center. She was given credit for time served and was released.

Mickeal Dale Hogan of Trenton admitted violation of probation. On a plea agreement, probation was revoked and Hogan was sentenced to 22 days in custody on two criminal counts: assault in the fourth degree and property damage in the second degree. Credit was given for time served in jail and Hogan was released.
