Several cases moved to Division One at circuit court in Trenton

Preliminary hearings were waived yesterday in the Associate Division of the Grundy County Circuit Court. Cases involving those defendants advance to Division One of circuit court for arraignments Thursday.

Among them are four felony charges facing David Lee Shiner of Trenton.

He’s accused of possession of a controlled substance, delivery or possession of a controlled substance at a jail, delivery of a controlled substance, and resisting arrest.

Terry Michael Delauder, with addresses of Trenton and Galt, is charged with two counts: unlawful possession of an illegal weapon as well as possession of a controlled substance. Certified to division one of circuit court were two charges, stemming from separate arrest dates, for driving while revoked or suspended in Grundy County.

Jeffrey Paul Hanna of Trenton is charged with domestic assault in third degree.

Certified to Division One were two counts of violation of protection order for an adult.

Colby Weaver of Trenton faces charges of sexual abuse in the first degree.

Shelly Lynn Gallagher of Trenton is charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Kimberly Ann Lewis-Minard of Trenton is charged with possession of a controlled substance and alleged endangering the welfare of a child. In another case, she was sentenced on a plea bargain agreement to 48 hours in jail on a charge of driving while revoked or suspended. A guilty plea was entered by the defendant.

Among some other cases in the associate division Tuesday:

Sedalia resident Brandon Kelch was sentenced to 60 days in jail on each charge: driving while intoxicated and marijuana possession. The court noted the sentences are to run concurrently with time being served in the Department of Corrections.

A written plea of guilty had been submitted to the court.

Kaila Leann Barnes of Trenton, on a plea agreement, was placed on two years probation and donate $100 to Grundy County Law Enforcement Fund on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

Entering a guilty plea to charges of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia was Kyle Ray Graves of Trenton. He was fined $300.
