Hodge Presbyterian Church in Trenton plans to host what it calls “a service of hope and remembrance” this coming Thursday evening at 5:30.
Pastor Steve Merrin said the special service is for anyone dealing with sadness or the loss of someone.
Pastor Merrin noted some people have problems during the holidays as they may be overcome with great sadness. Others, he said, have no one to spend the holidays with and are besieged by loneliness. He invited affected persons to come to Hodge Presbyterian Church where caring, loving thoughts will be expressed in the “Blue Christmas” worship Thursday at 5:30.
Hodge Presbyterian Church is at 315 West Crowder Road in Trenton.
