The members of the Missouri Senate’s Majority Caucus Thursday reelected Republican State Senator Dan Hegeman of Cosby to serve as the Senate Majority Caucus Chairman for the 100th General Assembly.

Hegeman says it is an honor to be re-elected to continue to serve as chairman and looks forward to working with members of the caucus “to continue to pass conservative, common-sense legislation” that aims to make Missouri a “great place to live, work, and raise a family.”

Hegeman also serves as the chairman of the Missouri Senate’s Local Government and Elections Committee. He was first elected to the Missouri Senate in 2014.

The 12th Senatorial District he represents is comprised of 15 Northwest Missouri counties, including Harrison, Mercer, Putnam, Daviess, Grundy, and Sullivan.
