Scouts in Trenton to hold annual “Scouting for Food” campaign

Trenton area Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Cub Scouts will hang tags for their annual Scouting for Food campaign Saturday.

Scouts and parents helping should meet in the Fellowship Hall of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Trenton at 9 o’clock Saturday morning.

Food collection will begin the morning of November 4th at 9 o’clock. Food items to be collected include canned meats, vegetables, and soups as well as boxed Hamburger, Tuna, or Chicken Helper; cereals; or crackers.  Food items with expiration dates less than a month away or with dents cannot be used.

Toiletry items to be collected include paper products, cleaning supplies, and personal toiletries. All nonperishable food and toiletry items will be donated to the Grundy County Food Pantry.
