The Scouting for Food drive on Saturday in Trenton resulted in the collection of nearly two thousand pounds of non-perishable food, paper products, and personal hygiene items.
The 1,965 pounds was an increase of 90 pounds over last year and the greatest amount in three years.
Boy Scouts from Troops 97 and 99, Cub Scouts from Pack 23, and Girl Scouts from Troop 3244 participated in the food drive.
