Scholarships for students available through GRM Networks

GRM Networks

GRM Networks places great importance on the opportunity for higher education. In an effort to support local students who wish to pursue further learning, GRM Networks offers a scholarship program for high school seniors whose parents or legal guardians are members of GRM Networks.

Numerous scholarships are available through the program. They include six GRM Networks scholarships as well as scholarships from the Foundation for Rural Service (FRS), the philanthropic arm of NTCA – The Rural Broadband Association. Students complete one application and are automatically considered for all scholarships offered. (Immediate family members of GRM Networks employees, or its board of directors, are not eligible for GRM Networks scholarships; however, students from those families will be considered for scholarships offered by FRS.)

GRM Networks will award up to $5,500 in scholarship money. This includes:

  • One $1,500 scholarship
  • Two $1,000 scholarships
  • Two $750 scholarships
  • One $500 scholarship

By partnering with FRS, GRM Networks is able to offer several one-time $2,500 scholarships to students from rural America for their first year of college, university or vocational-technical school. Students applying for the GRM and FRS scholarships will also be considered for the following scholarships:

  • Everett Kneece Scholarship
  • Good Neighbor Scholarship
  • Staurulakis Family Scholarship
