Road work for North Missouri for March 14th through March 20

 For those out and about in North Missouri in the upcoming week, the following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the Northwest Missouri region planned for the week of March 14 – 20 from the Missouri Department of Transportation.

In addition to the work listed below, there may be pothole patching, brush cutting, guardrail repairs and other road work conducted throughout the region. Many of these will be moving operations and could include lane closures with delays.

Atchison County

  • Route N – CLOSED at the East Fork of the Little Tarkio Creek Bridge; bridge replacement project. The road will be closed through mid-June.
  • Route 46 – From Route EE to the Nodaway County line; pothole patching, March 14
  • Route KK – Pothole patching, March 14 – 15
  • Interstate 29 – Southbound at the Nishnabotna Bridge (mile marker 123); bridge maintenance, March 14 – 17
  • I-29 – Pothole patching, March 16 – 17

Buchanan County

  • Route Y – From Route DD to the Platte County line; chip seal, March 14 – 17
  • I-229 – Sealing, March 14 – 18

Carroll County

  • Route DD – From the Ray County line to Route JJ; drainage work, March 14 – 16
  • Route J – From U.S. Route 65 to Route 139; pothole patching, March 16 – 17
  • Route WW – CLOSED from County Road 271 to Route YY; culvert replacement, March 17 – 18, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily
  • Route D – From Route C to the Mooresville city limits (Livingston County); pothole patching, March 14 – 16

Chariton County

  • U.S. Route 24 and Route 5 – Pothole patching, March 14 – 18

Clinton County

  • Route H – CLOSED from NE Witt Road to NE Estep Road; culvert replacement, March 15, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Route K – CLOSED from NW 300th to 278th; culvert replacement, March 16 – 17, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily
  • Route K – CLOSED at Route U; culvert replacement, March 18, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Daviess County

  • I-35 – All on and off ramps between U.S. Route 69 (mile marker 68.6) and Route H (mile marker 84.4 in Harrison County); pothole patching and crack sealing, March 14 – 18

DeKalb County

  • Route A – CLOSED at the North Fork of the Lost Creek Bridge; bridge maintenance, March 14 – 17, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily

Grundy County

  • Routes E, M and JJ – Pothole patching, March 14 – 18 

Harrison County

  • I-35 – All on and off ramps between U.S. Route 69 (mile marker 68.6 in Daviess County) and Route H (mile marker 84.4 ); pothole patching and crack sealing, March 14 – 18
  • Route M – From U.S. Route 69 to Route W; sealing, March 14 – 18

Holt County

  • Route 111 – From the Oregon city limits to the Forest City city limits; drainage work, March 14 – 18
  • Route 118 – From U.S. Route 59 to Route 111; shoulder work, March 15 – 18

Linn County

  • U.S. Route 36 – From Route 11 to Route 130; pothole patching, March 14 – 16

Livingston County

  • Route D – From the Mooresville city limits to Route C (Carroll County); pothole patching, March 14 – 16
  • Route C – From U.S. Route 36 to Route Z; pothole patching, March 17
  • Route DD – From Route C to the end of state maintenance; pothole patching, March 18

Nodaway County

  • Route FF – At the South Fork of Clear Creek; bridge replacement project. The bridge will be closed through the end of April.
  • Route E – CLOSED from 220th Road to 230th Road; culvert replacement, March 16, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Route 46 – Pothole patching, March 16 – 18

Putnam County

  • Route 139 – CLOSED one-half mile north of U.S. Route 136; culvert replacement, March 16, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Route 139 – CLOSED one mile north of 170th Road; culvert replacement, March 17, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Sullivan County

  • Route 129 – CLOSED from Table Road to Talent Road; culvert replacement, March 17 – 18, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily

Worth County

  • U.S. Route 169 – From Route 46 to 150th Road; slide repair, March 14 – 18
