Retirement and swearing-in ceremony to be held December 29 at Chillicothe

The Livingston County courthouse will be the location December 29 for a retirement reception for two officials as well as the swearing-in ceremonies for five people.

The retirement celebration begins at 2 o’clock for Livingston County Commissioners Ken Lauhoff and Todd Rodenberg, neither of which sought re-election this year.

They are being replaced on the Livingston County Commission by Alvin Thompson in the eastern district and by Dave Mapel in the western district.

Incumbents who also will be sworn in are Sheriff Steve Cox, Public Administrator Sherry Parks, and Coroner Scott Lindley.

The swearing-in takes place at 3:30 pm on December 29th in the Livingston County Circuit Courtroom of the Courthouse in Chillicothe.
