Resurfacing on Route C in Sullivan County as well as Routes 149 and W in Putnam County has been delayed.
Contractors from W. L. Miller Company of Hamilton, Illinois, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, planned to start resurfacing Route C June 20th, but were unable to begin the work.
Crews now plan to start resurfacing Monday, June 26, with work to be done from 7 o’clock in the morning to 6 o’clock in the evening each day. It is expected to take two weeks to complete. There will be single lane closures around the work.
After Route C, the contractor will move to Routes 149 and W in Putnam County.
The start date for those roads has not been determined.
The contractor plans to complete all work by the end of August, weather permitting.
