Putnam County Fair continues on a rainy Friday

An entire host of events and activities is on tap for the Putnam County Fair in Unionville today.

A Star Wars feature will be strolling the grounds this morning from 8:30 until 11 o’clock, with an antique tractor parade and display scheduled for 10:30.

A 4-H and FFA livestock buyer appreciation lunch and a taxidermy display will be held at Noon.

A 4-H and FFA junior livestock sale, an informational session regarding Putnam County feeder calf sale history will be held at the 4-H building, with a NASCAR simulator this afternoon at 1 o’clock.

Wild animal shows will be the feature at the children’s stage at 2:30, 4:30, and 6:30.

A rooster crowing contest is at 3:30 with a bottle baby livestock show at 5 o’clock, a Lucas Oil Pro-Pulling league tractor pull at 6 o’clock.

The Kevin Morris band is set to hit the stage at 6:30 this evening.
