A Purdin resident was hurt when the pickup truck she was driving traveled through the intersection of two country roads in north central Linn County and hit an embankment.
83-year-old Donna Miller of Purdin was flown to St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City with moderate injuries.
The Thursday afternoon accident happened three miles northwest of Shelby at the intersection of Iron Road and Hope Drive as the pickup was westbound on Iron Road when it traveled through the intersection at Hope Drive striking an embankment.
The truck received moderate damage.
