A public meeting will be held Wednesday evening October 12 regarding an application from Trenton Farms, LLC.
The meeting is scheduled from 6 to 8 pm in the Trenton High School gymnasium. Trenton Farms, LLC has filed a second application for a permit to create a concentrated animal feeding operation or CAFO in Jefferson Township on Highway W.
That site is the same location proposed when Trenton Farms, LLC made their first application in April 2015.
Don Davis is the property owner on which the CAFO is to be located, and is working with the Pinnacle Group of Iowa Falls, Iowa to develop the complex which is slated to house over 7000 animals.
