Princeton teen taken to hospital after Monday ATV accident

The highway patrol reports a 13-year-old Princeton boy was injured yesterday afternoon in an all terrain vehicle accident approximately three miles southwest of Mercer.

The three wheeler was towing a small utility trailer.

The patrol described injuries as moderate for Michael McFee of Princeton, who was taken by ambulance to Decatur County Hospital in Leon, Iowa.

The teen was southbound on Colorado Street when his right leg got caught in the wheel and he was pulled off the machine. The towed unit ran over the driver according to the accident report.
