Princeton student qualifies for state music competition

A Princeton student, Sierra Bruse, received a rating of one for a vocal solo at the district solo and small ensemble judging during Saturday’s event at St. Joseph Central High School.

Bruse qualifies for state judging April 28th in Columbia.

Princeton students receiving ratings of two at the district level included Haley Johnson for a vocal solo and Robert Esposito for a trombone solo.

Also receiving marks of two from Princeton were a percussion quartet, a clarinet trio, and a vocal trio.
