The Highway Patrol reports a Princeton man sustained minor injuries when a sports utility vehicle struck the transit van he drove in Princeton on Tuesday morning.

An ambulance transported 29-year-old Jaron Rhea to the Wright Memorial Hospital of Trenton. No injuries were reported for the SUV driver, 37-year-old Maria Ruiz-Marquez of Princeton.

The SUV reportedly stopped for a stop sign on northbound Broadway and attempted to make a left turn onto westbound Highway 136 before its front center hit the left driver’s side of the van traveling west on U. S. 136. The SUV came to rest in the westbound lane of U. S. 136, and the van came to rest on the north side of the road.

Both vehicles received extensive damage, and the drivers wore seat belts.
