The Princeton City Council approved two service contracts and the closure of an alleyway Monday evening.

Deputy City Clerk Corey Willett reports one service contract was awarded to Marcie Davis with the Mercer County Fair Board for $3,000 for the band Fast Times to play at the fair July 17th. The other service contract went to Jessie O’Dell with the Princeton High School Band for $500 for the band to play a free concert on the Princeton Square April 24th.

The council approved the closure of the alleyway between Casteel and Cain streets.

Philip Wilson with McClure Engineering discussed the next step for the Department of Natural Resources project. The council is to send out requests for well testing.

Spring Clean-Up is tentatively scheduled for May 2nd. The backup date is May 9th. Willett notes the date of the Spring Clean Up depends on Rapid Removal’s availability.
