The Princeton City Council approved three-band service contracts for the Princeton Chamber of Commerce on June 8th. Deputy City Clerk Lisa Colson reports the contracts were for $2,050 total.

The band Trailblazer is to perform on the Princeton Square on June 19th from 7 o’clock to 10:30. A fireworks celebration will be at the fairgrounds on July 3rd. It will include Jessie O’Dell and Tim Cason, as well as four local singers. Steadfast Grace and Servants of the Most High will perform at the health department’s back-to-school event on July 17th.

There was a previous request for alley abandonment on the west side of the west-end car wash by the owner. The council approved the abandonment of the alley in the form of a quick claim deed and to abandon the land to owner Clint Moore.

A fireworks permit was approved for Bill Heck.

Liquor licenses were approved upon payment of the license fee for Snappy’s, Chiefs, Mo’s Spirits, Casey’s, Dollar General, and Crossroads.
