Premier Eyecare Associates will no longer provide regular comprehensive exams, contact lens fitting, or eyewear adjustments as of Tuesday, March 24, 2020. The restriction is expected to last until at least April 12th.

Anyone who had an exam scheduled during that time does not need to call and cancel. Premier is currently rescheduling exams beginning May 1st and will call to move regular exams forward if the business is able to resume regular eye care prior to that date.

Regular operations will resume depending on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommendations and state and local government guidelines. Updates will be posted on the Premier Eyecare website and on the business’s Facebook page.

Patients should call to make arrangements for payment and pick up of eyewear and contact lenses. Orders will be shipped to patients for an additional $5.00.

Premier Eyecare is limiting the number of people in its offices, and doors will be locked. Patients may call, knock, or ring the doorbell, and glasses will be dispensed to them in the parking lot or vestibule depending on the office.

Patients with contact lens prescriptions expiring should call to order, and Premier will ship a six-month supply to patients. The business will continue to process and refill medications.

In the case of a medical eye care emergency, Premier can provide telehealth services in some cases. If someone is unable to reach the business, he or she should go to the Emergency Room.
