Among activities, Saturday night at the Pleasant View R-6 school was a dedication to the late Mrs. Annette Sager – a long-time kindergarten teacher.
A bench was presented in her memory by the Pleasant View School Board for her 15 years of service to the district. A moment of silence was observed and her family in attendance was recognized.
The evening also included basketball games, basketball shoot-out, and an auction.
While the fundraising goal of $3,000 has been surpassed, the R-6 district reports information on the total amount of money raised is to be announced at a later date.
