The Pleasant View R-6 Board of Education has voted to employ Denise Ewing of Brookfield as the school’s Speech Pathologist.
The board approved Prairie Farms to supply milk and People’s Coop to provide diesel fuel for the upcoming school year. The People’s Coop bid was four cents below the pump price. It was the largest discount among two bids received.
The first day of classes at Pleasant View R-6 are August 24th. The district’s early childhood special education Pre-School begins August 29th.
An open house is slated for the evening of August 22nd for the pre-school taught by Janet Lake through the eighth grade.
The board of education holds a property tax rate hearing the night of August 9th at 7 o’clock. The regular monthly meeting of the Pleasant View Board of Education follows.
