The Pleasant View R-6 Board of Education has agreed to allow children turning 3-years-old after the start of school year to participate in the district’s preschool program if there are openings, and other requirements are met.

The district previously required children to be 3 before the school year began to be eligible for pre-school.

The district is again seeking bids to remove snow with bids due by November 7th at noon. No snow removal bids were received in the first round of seeking them.

The board approved an agreement with Jostens for a yearbook with students to prepare the yearbook and sell the publication. Fifty copies are to ordered with no net cost anticipated for the school district after the yearbooks are sold.

Classes at Pleasant View will be dismissed early on October 20th for parent-teacher conferences and it was noted there will be no school at Pleasant View October 21st.

Health insurance renewal information is expected to be available for the November 8th meeting of the Pleasant View R-6 Board of Education.
