Patrol reports arrests in Linn County

The Highway Patrol reports several arrests in Linn County on Friday and overnight Saturday on drug-related allegations.

Twenty-one year old Derick Gardner of Atlanta, Missouri was accused of possession of marijuana—10 grams or less and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia as well as failure to display lighted tail lamps on a vehicle being towed and failure to register trailer annually with the Department of Revenue.

Forty-five-year-old Ashley Hunter of Slater, 43-year-old Rodney Jenks of Slater, and 38-year-old Damien Tweedy of Bates City were each accused of felony possession of a controlled substance—methamphetamine and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

The Patrol notes they were each taken to the Marceline Police Department before being released.
