Patrol reports additional arrests over July 4 holiday weekend

The Highway Patrol reports the arrest of two area men on several allegations.

Thirty-year-old Corey Martin of Green City was arrested in Sullivan County on July 4th and accused of felony resisting arrest by fleeing, failing to yield to an emergency vehicle, and not having a driver’s license. He was also accused of speeding, failing to drive on the right half of the road, careless and imprudent driving, and not having insurance. He was taken to the Sullivan County Jail on a 24-hour hold.

The Patrol arrested 66-year-old Hubert Garr of Unionville in Putnam County on July 5th. He was accused of felony driving while intoxicated as an aggravated offender, not having insurance, and failing to stop at a stop sign. He was taken to the Putnam County Jail.
