The Highway Patrol has released the name of the individual shot and killed during a traffic stop last Thursday evening in Livingston County.
The state patrol says the deceased was identified as 33-year-old Kyle A. Eichler of Chillicothe.
Livingston County deputies reported they experienced problems with Eichler during a traffic stop in Wheeling.
The highway patrol division of drug and crime control continues to investigate the incident and no other information has been released.
