Patrol busy on Friday night with 4 arrests

The Highway Patrol arrested several individuals in the area on Friday night on various allegations.

Twenty-eight-year-old Shane Robbins of Unionville and 20-year-old Brandon McCanels of Moravia, Iowa were arrested in Putnam County. They were accused of felony possession of a controlled substance—methamphetamine and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Robbins was also accused of failure to display valid plates, no insurance, and no seat belt. Both were taken to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office and released.

The Patrol arrested 33-year-old Justin Crewse of Davis City, Iowa in Harrison County on allegations of failure to drive on the right half of the roadway and driving while suspended. He was transported to the Harrison County Jail and is reported to be bondable.

Thirty-four-year-old Kiley Young of Cameron was arrested in Clinton County and accused of driving while intoxicated with a person less than 17 in the vehicle and careless and imprudent driving involving an accident. She was taken to the Clinton County Jail on a 24-hour hold.
