A pancake feed Saturday in Trenton raised 450 dollars for the mascot program at Trenton High School and middle school.
Dave Burkeybile, who oversees the team, says there’s enough money now to purchase a new bulldog suit for the next school year. The new suit will cost around $1,200. The mascots also run a concession stand at school volleyball games in the fall.
The mascot program, from its fundraising efforts, also makes donations.
