Open enrollment for Medicare begins October 15th

The next period for “open enrollment” involving Medicare begins October 15^th and closes on December 7^th.

The Grand River Multi-Purpose Center in Chillicothe will provide senior citizens with what’s called “free and unbiased” assistance regarding Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage plans. Counselors are to be available there on Wednesday mornings, starting October 26^th, from 9 o’clock to 11 o’clock

Information from the center indicates plans can be compared; coverage checked, and it’s possible costs could be lowered.

Appointments are required to visit with claim counselors at the Grand River Multi- Purpose center in the south part of Chillicothe.
