Old Time Country Music Festival to kick off June 9 at Unionville

The 8th annual Old Time Country Music Festival at Unionville sponsored by the Lions Club is slated for June 9th through 11th.

There’s a potluck meal at six o’clock on June 9th followed by gospel music at seven.

An open stage is the morning of June 10th between 10 o’clock and Noon with shows that afternoon from one until five and that evening from 6 until 10.

The schedule Saturday June 11th also has an open stage from 10 until noon and shows from 1 until 5 and 6 until 10 o’clock.

Dances are planned during the afternoon and evening on June 10th and 11th.

The old time country music festival is at the city park/fairgrounds off Highway 5 in northern Unionville. Home cooked meals and refreshments are to be available on the grounds. which has an air conditioned building.

Camping charges are twenty dollars for a full hook-up and seventeen dollars for basic campsites, on a first come, first served basis. Showers and restrooms also are available.
