Northwest Missouri woman dies in Saturday crash

A northwest Missouri resident was killed early Saturday when the car she was driving hit the towed unit of a tractor-trailer unit in Clinton County.

33-year old Haley Triggs of Agency was pronounced dead at the scene two miles south of Grayson on Highway 169.

The highway patrol reports the northbound car crossed the centerline and hit the towed unit of an unknown tractor-trailer unit. The car, which was demolished, came to rest on the left shoulder.

Triggs was wearing a seatbelt.
