A Northwest Missouri man was fatally injured when the motorcycle he was operating overturned on Highway 136 west of Burlington Junction.
28-year old Lucas Greever of Burlington Junction was pronounced dead at the scene shortly before 8:30 Sunday morning.
The highway patrol report indicates it was believed the accident happened approximately six hours earlier at 2:30 am two miles west of Burlington Junction on Highway 136.
Greever was eastbound on the motorcycle when he went off the left side of the road at a curve, hit an embankment, and overturned, throwing Greever from the motorcycle.
The patrol reports Greever was wearing safety equipment at the time of the crash.
