A northwest Missouri man was killed when the pickup truck he was driving went off Highway 59 at Mound City, throwing him out of the vehicle through the front passenger window.
57-year old Dayton Lawson of Craig was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident was Saturday afternoon as the pickup was southbound on Highway 59.
The investigating officer reports the vehicle went off the left side of the road, traveled up an embankment, and came to rest on its wheels. The pickup was not damaged.
Lawson was not wearing a seatbelt.
