Northeast Missouri Livestock Person of the Year applications due May 1

The University of Missouri Extension is accepting applications for the Northeast Missouri Livestock Person of the Year.

Applicants can be producers of livestock, agribusiness or agency personnel, or agriculture researchers as well as long-time supporters of the northeast Missouri livestock industry.

The award recipient must have made a significant contribution to the livestock industry in northeast Missouri and will be inducted into the Northeast Missouri Livestock Producers Hall of Fame at the Livestock at the state Livestock Symposium in Kirksville in December.

The recipient will also be inducted into the Northeast Missouri Livestock Producer Hall of Fame and receive a hand painted framed oil portrait.

Applications must be received by the afternoon of May 1 at 4:30.
